Our neighborhood watch program is designed to effectively manage suspicious people or activity in Arbor View. Report non-emergency, suspicious activity to our volunteer neighbor AV Watch Zone Captains who will investigate and resolve anything out of the ordinary in Arbor View (NOTE: Emergencies should always be reported to 911).
What is "chronic street parking"? It's when a resident frequently parks their vehicle on the street without authorization, causing a constant nuisance or safety concern to the community. Occasional parking for events like parties, gatherings, or authorized home repairs is not considered chronic street parking and is permitted by the Board.
Consider what’s normal in your area, if you see something suspicious that is a non-emergency, then AV Watch should be alerted (NOTE: Emergencies should always be reported to 911).
The Report Supicious Activity alert form can be found on our neighborhood website, www.avhood.com or scanning the QR code provided to you and placed discreetly in neighborhood common areas including the pool, tennis court, clubhouse, playground and basketball courts.
An AV Watch Zone Captain will contact you within 5 minutes (see "AV Watch Operating Hours") after you report suspicious activity. The AV Watch Zone Captain may need additional details and will let you know the final resolution to your alert.
